1. Banner
Advertising :
Your ad can be placed on a large banner that will be visible
throughout the site. There is the popular top banner location
and the very effective Large Homepage banner. Plus we have
other exclusive locations. All prices are in USD

Top Banner = $75/week.
Home Page Banner = $500/month.
Flyers = $varys.

Specifications:
The GIF file should not be more than 4 frames The final Flash
file (.swf) must be exported as Flash version 4, 5 or 6 (we do
not accept 3 and below, or 7band above) When submitting the
final FLASH file (.swf), you MUST include a Double Click
compatible 'clickTag' embedded in the file with a http://www.Houstoncaribfest.com
value or the value to the event listing.
2. Newsletter :
All of our members receive receive periodic (weekly) updates
via e-mail. The newsletter is capable of including text or
graphical banner
ads that can showcase your event/service. This is a very
effective tool because it ensures that each of our members
receive your information. Prices start at $35usd per
newsletter
3. Sponsorship:
We encourage sponsors to create a long term relationship with
houstoncaribfest so our members can associate your
product/service with houston caribfest. Enquire for long term
(min. 3mos) discounted options.

Q. How do I get a banner on houstoncaribfest?
A. Please call 713-689-0689. Inform that you are interested in placing a banner/flyer. .
Once payment is confirmed, your banner/flyer will be posted no later than 24 hours later.
Q. What is the cost to
Advertising events?
A. There is a $25 fee (plus handling if done online) to post your event/flyer in the EVENT
SECTION where all of our members regularly check to see what
events are occurring
in their area. The fee is for a two week run.
B. There is a $100 fee to post your flyer on an index page. The runs are for a maximum four weeks prior to your event. Houston Caribfest reserves the right to limit index page advertisement during the Caribfest advertising periods. Houston Caribfest reserves the right to increase prices at any time without notice. Please call to get the latest price structure.

Q. Can I design the
banner/flyer and what are the specs?
A. There is a banner design fee for all Banner Ads that we
create. However, feel free to create the banner or have your
local graphics/design person do it. Here are the
specifications: Dimensions: 468x60 pixels for banners and 350x500 pixels or 450x300 pixels for flyers. Banners/Flyers will be resized to these specifications if they result in no loss of resolution. Format: JPG or GIF.
Animation: GIF or SWF format not more than 3 frames
Q. Why isn't my
banner the only one that appears and how come I see the
others more?
A. Our high web
traffic allows us to place more than one banner in rotation at
a time, but each banner gets a balanced amount of exposure.
e.g.) If there are 6 banners in rotation, the first 6 visitors
to a page will see those six banners and if you are 7th
visitor then count will reset and you will see the 1st banner.
This rotation can reset in a matter of a second because of the
high activity.
